The antidote to all poison is information.
It takes constant vigilance and information updates to keep the public safe from poison. So that’s what we aim to provide. Through distribution of poison prevention education materials, interactive educational games, poison safety classes and more, RMPDC works tirelessly to protect its five-state region from poison threats. Here is a list of some of the resources we can provide to you:
- PoisonSmarts: A quarterly newsletter for the general public with seasonal poison information and pediatric environmental health topics, available electronically or via hard copy.
- Train the Trainer: Learn how to assist with poison injury prevention.
- Public Education Consulting: Our Public Education Coordinator can provide ideas for educational events, program planning or other support for poison prevention.
- Education Materials: Contact us for brochures, games or other educational support in large quantities.
