RMPDC requested to submit proposal for AHRQ
– the Agency for Healthcare Research & Quality (AHRQ) issued a Request for Task Order on May 24, 2010 that specified Denver Health as the sole source for the planned research, which expands upon previous RMPDC research conducted by Dr. Greg Bogdan Research Director. The project is entitled “A Model for Enhancing Throughput at division of the Strategic National Stockpile (DSNS) Points of Dispensing (POD) Sites via use of Tele-Health Technolgies” and will examine how call centers can be utilized to assist public health agencies during public health emergencies like an anthrax release. The sole source designation indicates that AHRQ is confident of Denver Health’s RMPDC ability to develop such a model and its continued leadership in call center research.
